How-To Video: Rubber Roof Maintenance

Some fifth wheels and trailers come with rubberized roofs. These roofs are very easy to maintain and inspect. Anything that protrudes through the roof has caulking or sealant around it.

Should you see dry cracking or splitting, you want to scrape that old sealant away then reapply new sealant that’s recommended by your manufacturer.

La Mesa RV offers free roof inspections for your convenience, so head to your local shop to get yours. To learn more about maintaining your rubber roof, watch the video tutorial.
