Tybee Island, Georgia
Where to Stay: River's End Campground
This stunning barrier island is located near Savannah and is an ideal location to ring in the new year in your motorhome. Campfires on the beach? Check! The Southeasts largest firework show? You bet! Watching this amazing display while having a campfire on the beach? That sounds like the best New Year's Eve celebration ever! If you're feeling really adventurous this new year, you can sign up for the annual Tybee Polar Plunge in which, you might have guessed, you start January 1, 2019 by jumping into the Atlantic Ocean!
