Dear Allen,
I wanted to thank you for the professionalism and dedicated customer service you provided my wife and I in the purchase of our 2006 35A Winnebago Adventurer. It was a privilege working with such a person as your self that holds value in keeping your word and showing such strong morale character. Your spirit of excellence and can do attitude told us that you were the right person to sell us a new coach.
My wife and I had been dealing with numerous other dealerships through the United States for the purchase of a new coach, and La Mesa RV stands alone when it comes to customer care!
Also, I would like to thank Mr. Steve Schlesener and Ms. Sarah Dowling from the San Diego Branch for the last minute processing of our purchase documents. They were unaware until our arrival the morning of October 16 that we were from Anchorage, Alaska and were planning to drive immediately back home, a distance of over forty two hundred miles. Steve quickly had the coach sent into a service bay for an oil change as we were going to reach three thousand miles before even leaving San Diego. Steven then quickly arrange for transportation to Yuma, Arizona for the transfer of the coach, so as we would not incur California sales tax; what a relief that was. With the slight delay of going to Yuma, we were still able to get the coach and ourselves back to anchorage safely by Saturday October 21st, which was my deadline due to work responsibilities.
My Step dad and I drove from 0700 to 1100 ever day, with of course stops here and there for lunch, dinner and just breaks from the road. Driving through the states was pretty uneventful until we hit Palm Springs, CA where the winds were gusting to 65 miles per hour. Oh and don’t let me forget Seattle, Washington where we encountered a severe rain storm and evening rush hour traffic in the dead of night. This made us even more thankful we bought the Work Horse chassis; it was very responsive and kept the coach stable in all these treacherous driving conditions. The coach performed tremendously throughout the trip, and I was amazed how different this coach was from our 1988 Bounder motor home we have been driving for years. The Adventurer truly was an upgrade we will always be thankful for and would not have enjoyed as much, without you and the staff at La Mesa RV’s commitment to customer service!
