Testimonals

From: Bob Lilienthal

Mr. Hennessy:

I wanted to let you know of my recent visit to La Mesa RV for service. Even thought I drive 125 miles (each way) I have never given a second thought because Joseph and Scott have become my friends over the years I have been coming in. To see Joseph’s children grow, and to hear Scott’s daughter’s achievements at school are part of the joy of visiting. Last year when we were in Tucson, Scott brought his children to visit us so they could see the 5 foot long iguana he had told them about being in the coach when he serviced it.

Our annual pilgrimage this year once again coincided with the Gem Show (my wife has a jewelry business), and in preparation for our Spring and Summer trips I wanted the coach checked, fluids changed, etc. Stephanie made a reservation quickly, efficiently, and to suit our schedule, and Joseph greeted me like we were long-lost friends. I cannot emphasize how important this attitude is to the annual visitor. Without feeling rushed, Joseph and I spoke for a few minutes about family, coach, needs, pick-up, and I left knowing I was in good hands.

Upon returning, the coach was ready (as promised), Scott came to greet me, brought me up-to-date on what he found (minor), his children, and how good it was to see me. Mr. Hennessy, you cannot buy this kind of goodwill and public relations. What started a few years ago as a visit of curiosity when I saw a new Essex on your lot, Karen speaking and listening to us and suggesting that our problems with the Essex we loved could be solved by bringing it to your service, bringing it in that week and meeting Joseph and Scott, and the rest is history (including a visit from the President and Founder of the company who invented the rear-view camera which no one else could fix).

For those RV owners in the area, for those traveling through, and for (like me) transplants looking for a good service team I can only say: use me and my recommendations for what they’re worth. You have a combination in which you should have great pride, and RV owners/travelers should be made aware of them.

Thanks,
Bob Lilienthal

Dear Mr. Walters,

We recently purchased a 2006 Elite Suites 39 foot fifth wheel at La Mesa RV in Tucson. I want to let you know how not only pleased we are with the purchase but, more importantly, how the entire process of the sale, from the time of our first visit to see the trailer through the delivery on the 17th of December, was handled in the most professional yet relaxed manner. Everyone involved was always very helpful and courteous, beginning with Dick Wydenes and Nancy Kish on the sales staff, Dave Adams our service advisor, and lastly the man who delivered the trailer on the morning of the 17th. We very much appreciate the generous allowance of time for inspection of the unit. In that connection I am especially thankful for Dave Adams who was always most helpful in promptly answering all of our questions about the unit and in expeditiously correcting all of the faults found during the inspection.

The whole process was a pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to recommend La Mesa RV as a great place to buy and RV.

Sincerely,
George S. Egeland

Dear Mr. Kimbrell:

On January 29, 2010 we purchased a 2004 Safari Trek from La Mesa RV while in Quartzsite, Arizona. The Trek is our third RV purchase and it was a wonderful experience for us thanks to the staff at La Mesa RV.

Salesman Rob Brown was most helpful in answering our questions about our new rig. Bob Upton worked with us to obtain the best financial package for us.

Since we had to wait a few days for delivery we had a change to enjoy the free breakfasts and lunches provided by La Mesa RV. The food was good and the “Silver Buckle” staff was always ready with a warm and friendly greeting.

Frank in your service department got us situated on the lot, worked to get the gig ready, and kept us informed as to the progress of our rig. When it came time to move into our new rig, Taylor and Rob made sure everything was safe and to our satisfaction.

All in all your La Mesa RV staff at Quartzsite were outstanding, and made our purchasing experience very positive. They exhibited your company’s slogan “FAMILY” really means just that. As we mentioned, this was our third RV purchase, and the only one where we did not think we were in the hands of a bunch of “Snake Oil Salesmen”. We have never felt it necessary to correspond with management relative to purchasing experiences, but with such great treatment, we felt this is a must.

Again, thank you and La Mesa RV for having the foresight to put such a great team together, one that lives up to your company’s slogan.

Sincerely,
Ed and Stephanie Lynch

Mr. Walters:

Last month I traveled with my wife in our 2033 Winnebago Journey, more than 200 miles to Tucson for an important appointment with a physician. Upon arrival we discovered that our bathroom sink and shower fixtures had apparently frozen and were inoperable.

Your service man, Xavier Carrillo, with the support of his manager, Dave Hennessy, and their scheduler, Stephanie Vasquez, made room in their busy schedule to analyze and repair our RV. My wife was particularly happy I was able to shower that evening.

They did so in a very timely manner, repaired all the fixtures at a reasonable cost, and made sure we did not miss our important appointment.

Thank you for hiring people who have the best interests of their customers in mind when they make decisions about after-sale maintenance.

Sincerely,
Theodore J. Lynn Jr.

Dear Sir:

Having been in business for many years before retiring, I know how important it can be to receive customer feedback concerning one’s employees. Here is some for you from this very satisfied customer.

While camping at Wekiva Falls RV resort the past two weeks I noted that my refrigerator rooftop vent was damaged. Your salesperson Ann Luzzi was there with a couple of units (and she sold one of them). She gave me directions to your location.

Mike in the parts department got me the parts immediately, while very busy with other customers.

I returned the next day with a question concerning installation, and Mike buttonholed Tim Short who was walking by, and who gave me the information I needed. As it turned out, only a knowledgeable tech would know.

Total revenue from me to you, approximately $35.00.

Total value to me: priceless.

I have already had the opportunity to refer another RVer to you, and will do so in the future. Thank you for such courteous and helpful people, even for such a small purchase.

Sincerely,
Malcolm D. Strickler
